Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At AMATECH, we strive to deliver exceptional software development services. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation procedures to ensure transparency and fairness for all parties.

2. Refund Eligibility

Cases Where Refunds Are Granted:
  • Project cancellation within 24 hours of initial payment (full refund)
  • Failure to start the project within 7 days of payment confirmation
  • Mutual agreement to cancel the project before development begins
  • Technical issues preventing project delivery that we cannot resolve
Cases Where Refunds Are NOT Granted:
  • After project development has started (partial refund may be considered)
  • If client provides incomplete/incorrect requirements
  • Change of mind after approval of design/mockups
  • If client fails to provide required materials/information
  • After project completion and delivery

3. Cancellation Policy

Project Cancellation Timeline:
Within 24 Hours

Full refund (100%) if no work has started

2-7 Days

50% refund if minimal work has started

After 7 Days

No refund - work will be delivered as per agreement

4. Refund Process

  1. Submit Request: Email refund request to refunds@amatech.dev
  2. Review Period: We review within 3-5 business days
  3. Decision: We notify you of approval/rejection
  4. Processing: Approved refunds processed within 10 business days
  5. Payment: Refund issued to original payment method

5. Partial Refunds

In cases where work has partially commenced, we may offer partial refunds calculated as:

  • Total payment - (hours worked × hourly rate)
  • Administrative fee may apply (10% of refund amount)
  • Bank/transaction fees deducted from refund amount

6. Special Cases

Maintenance & Support Packages:
  • Monthly packages: Cancel anytime, no refund for current month
  • Annual packages: Pro-rated refund based on unused months
Retainer Agreements:
  • Unused hours expire at end of billing cycle
  • No refund for unused retainer hours
